The Ministry of Education, Singapore, is proud to present the Outdoor Education Conference 2010- “The Curious Garden – inculcating curiosity, encouraging exploration, inspiring care for the world around us.” This biennial event is the 4th conference organized with the support of partner organisations in Outdoor Education (Read  more  about  Our  Partners.) for outdoor educators and practitioners from Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Pooling together international speakers renowned in their fields and workshop presenters with varied experiences, this conference will be an excellent opportunity for educators and practitioners to come together to discuss current trends and issues in Outdoor Education. Conference participants can also look forward to networking with fellow educators and practitioners in their respective fields.

The conference theme this year is inspired by a book of the same name by Peter Brown. The theme was chosen to reflect the importance of inculcating curiosity in the young about Singapore (the Garden) and encouraging them to explore every corner of this Garden. (Read more about the Theme.)

We would thus like to invite you to attend this conference which will take place from 26th to 28th October 2010, at School Of The Arts (SOTA), Singapore. Please email: moe_oe_conference_2010@moe.gov.sg. if you have any enquiries. (Read more about Conference Details.)
